Key features
The YZF-R1M feature Yamaha’s unique 998cc inline four-cylinder crossplane crankshaft
engine with titanium fracture-split connecting rods and offset cylinders.

A six-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) processes real-time vehicle attitude and wheel speed data
for the onboard electronics, including adjustable lean-angle sensitive ABS braking system, traction
control, and stability control.

Öhlins Electronic Racing Suspension (ERS) on the YZF-R1M features NPX pressurised fork legs.
Everything is adjustable through the YRC settings on the TFT dash or via a smartphone, with a choice
of passive or active suspension.
