Description

This purpose built enduro racer is built for riding in the bush – fast. Developed as an off-road version of the YZ250F, this cross country racer is equipped with enduro optimised engine and suspension settings.

For Australia, YZ250FX comes with an off road kit that includes handguards, rearview mirror, lights and a horn. This allows the model to qualify for recreational registration in applicable states.

Based on the championship-winning YZ250F that features Yamaha’s revolutionary front-intake, rearexhaust, liquid-cooled, DOHC 4-stroke power plant with an added sixth gear, wide ratio transmission and a range of off-road upgrades, the YZ250FX is an outof-the-box competition machine.

The highly developed aluminium bilateral beam frame features precisely tuned flex characteristicsfor competition-ready performance. The forged section at the swingarm pivot, and tuned engine mounting brackets provide a nimble lightweight feeling in tight, technical terrain while still providing control in fast sections. As always, Yamaha’s classleading KYB suspension ensures maximum control and traction.
