The all new Niken is a motorcycle that has already divided opinions, receiving both rave reviews and slamming responses from riders across the world. What better place to start, right? After riding it after at our Niken launch, It didn’t take long for us to decide that this was the bike to celebrate by making it our next custom.

To those who are yet to ride the Niken, this is a bike that instills confidence in the rider. While riding it feels remarkably like riding any other two wheel motorcycle, learning to trust the front end results in complete and utter joy as you start to push the front grip and push slowly past your comfort levels into territory where you may not normally be exactly comfortable. It soaks the crappiest of roads and holds a firm line through the greasiest of B Roads. What better idea than to throw a turbo on it!?

This is where Ben from Extreme creations comes in. His work and commitment to his bike, as well as his core business is nothing short of amazing. And its not just the turbo, its the little things everyone else looks past. Such as engineering the mounting to fit the Yamaha Supplied Akrapovic exhaust and making it all fit the with factory centre stand. Even using the factory aftermarket GPS mount and fabricating an adapter to fit the boost gauge.

From there, Justin’s vision was to build a go almost anywhere type vehicle. The sort of vehicle that could be used and equipped to take care of you in any scenario. The base of the was the US Army Hummer. Its Matte beige paint job is a nod of the hat to the desert storm finished Army vehicles. To further enhance that theme, SW Motech crash guards and Givi Halogen spotlights where fitted to protect through the harshest environments. Finally we have equiped the bike with a Givi Top box adaptor and utility top case, finished with Givi thermal flasks and a 5L jerry can – just enough room to carry the esentials of course.
